Su longitud y situación te asegura el tener un trocito de playa incluso en pleno verano. La longitud de El Playazo es de 1.7 kms y casi 30 metros de ancho. La arena es gruesa y oscura, típico en la zona de playas de Nerja. El entorno cuenta con pequeñas granjas y plantaciones de caña de azúcar, por lo que la zona presenta una sensación.
